Profile NFT

The Profile NFT, a key element of the Lens Protocol, grants you control over your social graph and content. An address can own multiple Profile NFTs, each maintaining a record of all posts, quotes, mirrors, comments, and other content created.

Each Lens Profile is uniquely identified by an ID, such as Profile #1234 or Profile #69420.

The relationship between profiles is tracked on-chain using Follow NFTs. These are issued to profiles that follow a specific profile. The issuance of Follow NFTs is managed by Follow Modules, which are customizable smart contracts that can be used to create unique follow logic.

Follow NFTs also have unique IDs. These are sequential numbers: the first follower receives #1, the second gets #2, and so on. Apps can utilize this feature to offer unique benefits to early followers of a specific Profile.
